What does the word create mean to you?
Pause and think about it.
Create.
Creation.
Does it only mean creating something? Maybe it also means fearing to create? Or maybe it means fearing the creation?
Crea…ture?
Cre…dability?
Cre…dulousness?
When someone says to you: “Just do it!”, or: “What are you so afraid of? Just start small and over time it will all fall into place!” Well, will it really though? Will everything “just fall” into place if we keep creating? Is creating a curse word or a blessing in disguise?
Let me put it this way so you better understand where I’m coming from.
In order for us to create in life, we first should try and grasp the concept of fearing the creation.
What do I mean by fearing the creation? Well, when I say fearing the creation, I’m not talking about fearing God or being spiritual, or religious in order to fear the creation that we as humans represent. By fearing the creation I mean respecting our powers and capabilities, recognizing our powerfulness, our mendedness, our fragility, our mendability.
For us to come to a point in life where “Just create!” is something we can easily do without thinking, can only occur when we fear our own creation. As soon as we fearfully respect and accept the monstrosity of our creation, only then, will we be able to differentiate between the us as we are, and the us that we can be.
The full potential is only then exhausted when we have tapped into the deepest potential of the human creation. Only then, we can come close to processing what our fullest creation-potential is.
How can we ever know what our fullest creation-potential is? Can we ever know at all?
Can we ever maximise our potential insofar that we know that we are the best versions of our creation?
Is the best version of our creation ever credible enough to others, let alone to ourselves?
Is the best version of our creation still credulous? Or has it then surpassed the level of credulousness and entered the level of superiority and excellence?
Is “Just create!” the right approach to such a complex being?
And lastly, what are we now? Creatures or creations? Or both?
Did this make any sense at all?
